This was a project for the Seattle Knights, who were performing as characters from Lord of the Rings at Conventions throughout the Northwest during the trilogy craze.

The Urik Hai helm was originally sculpted in oil clay and a plaster mold was made.  The actual helmets were cast in fiberglass and leather cheek pieces were added post casting.  The two later production versions also had a crest added, made of styrene.  They were finished in a dark enamel gun metal with fake aging added.
