Change the (AT) to the @ symbol and there you are.  I publish my email address this way to avoid the spam-spiders.

These last few years I have been putting an emphasis on my watercolors, along with some remodeling on house, editing some video, keeping up a number of websites for myself and some clients, taking lots of photos www.flickr.com/photos/douglasherring/sets/ and performing as a Knight/Yeoman/Pirate with the Seattle Knights performance troupe.  And at the moment, I am storyboarding a movie sequence and doing some sculpting and casting for my Fantasy Helms project.

It has been a few years since I last worked in the games industry, but my passion for game development is still very strong.

So, I have been contemplating a return to the Games Industry.  I have an excellent skill set and a lot of experience in that industry, and in truth, a lot of passion.  What would pull me back in would be a GREAT project, and those are few and far between.  I like larger than life.  I have been lucky to date, to have worked on a wide variety of historical and fantastic and futuristic projects.  Things go in cycles, and I am very curious and would love to work again on a next generation game or two.

Storyboards on the other hand, has always been a love, and pre-dates my Games Industry work.  I am a student of film and I spend far too much time taking everything I digest and converting it to visual terms. Beyond the visuals, I have also taken Robert McKee's three day story seminar on film writing (Brian Cox did a great take on him in "Adaptation") which is really just a hint at how diverse and eclectic my life and interests are.  I would LOVE to do more storyboarding.

I find I very much miss the daily interaction with creative people.  So as I look to the future, games call to me once again.  Thanks for indulging me!

Sincerely,

Doug-
